Risk Manager Presentation

10/11/18 5:30pm to 7:30pm

On Thursday, October 11, the Henry W. Bloch School of Management will host Randy Jouben as our Risk Manager in Residence.  This program is sponsored by a grant received from the Spencer Foundation.  Randy is currently the Executive Director of Risk Management and Compliance at the College of Southern Maryland.  Randy has had an interesting career in risk management, he has worked in risk management roles for both for-profit and non-profit organizations including Five Guys Enterprises, LLC, the American Red Cross, Catholic Diocese of Arlington Virginia, and MHM Services (provides behavioral health, medical and dental specialty services).

Randy will present “Risk 2025: A review of the first quarter of the millennium and beyond”.  We will meet in the auditorium in Bloch Executive Hall room 218 (this is our new building located at 5108 Cherry Street, the parking garage is a few blocks to the north).  We will have drinks (non-alcoholic due to students being invited) and snacks before and after the event.  Doors will open at 5:30, with the presentation going from 6-7:00, with a networking reception following.  This would be a great opportunity for your membership to gain some insights from Randy as well as network with some of our students.

Parking will be provided in the Cherry Street Parking Garage.  I will have an attendant available to pass out parking passes at the Cherry Street entrance.  My only request is that your members shoot me an email so that I can get them on a parking list.
