June Virtual Meeitng "Diversity - For the Love of the Race"

06/23/22 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Diversity - For the Love of the Race

Fasten your seat belt as Mea takes us through her firsthand experiences with race (skin color) and racing (NASCAR.) As the owner of multiple small businesses, including a race team, one of her proudest career accomplishments was orchestrating a six-figure driver development deal with Hendrick Motorsports, a premier NASCAR team (think Jeff Gordon.) The driver, her son, was fourteen years old; the youngest driver ever signed to a NASCAR contract. Even more extraordinary, he is biracial, one of a handful of black drivers in the seventy-two-year history of the sport. As the mother/grandmother of a diverse family; Black, White, Native American, Mexican, and African, Mea is gifted with a plethora of unique experiences. Mea will take us around the track and share with us how we win races one lap, one person, one heart at a time.

This session is free to paid members. To reserve your spot and obtain the Zoom link, send an email to kccpcu@gmail.com by Monday, June 20, 2022.

The event is at Noon Central.
