Speaker Attorney Mark Katz with The Law Offices of Coronado Katz, LLC will present "Fire Science Ethics & Spoliation"
Mark Katz's 33 years as an attorney have been devoted to demanding justice for clients and the public. As an assistant prosecutor in Jackson County, Missouri, Mark fought for justice for the victims of crime - and for the past 25 years, he has fought for his clients, big and small, individuals and corporations. He has represented cities, counties and other governmental entities; as well as insurance companies and their insureds. He has committed his career to helping his clients achieve the best possible results in trial, arbitration and mediation. Mark's litigation experience has touched many areas of the law, but his recent focus includes product liability, commercial litigation, personal injury and employment litigation.
Mark gives back to the legal profession through his leadership in a number of organizations. He provides training to other lawyers in continuing legal education seminars through the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel. He served as the KADC’s president in 2017, where he also served as the legislative committee chair. He is the immediate past chair of the fire science and litigation subcommittee of DRI’s product liability committee.
