2017 May Chapter Meeting
Reserve your seat! Bring a Co-Worker! Reply by Wednesday, 5/10
We never think it will happen to us. We're convinced we know the threats around us. We're certain we've safeguarded our home, family, and business. Yet too often we hear about devastating fires in our local communities. Have you REALLY surveyed your property for exposed danger? Do you know the most common causes of residential and commercial fires? Do you have a survival plan if fire ensues in your vehicle, home or even when dining in your favorite restaurant? What actions may help or hinder investigations by authorities, following a fire?
On March 20, 2017, the Overland Park Fire Department faced an eight-alarm fire - the largest in the City's history. Our Guest Speaker, Tricia Roberts, Educational Specialist, Fire Department, City of Overland Park, will lead us in an enlightening and educational discussion about fire safety, prevention, and lessons learned. Bring a colleague!
